Olivia Nordyke became a part of the Alaska’s News Source team in July 2024. Originally from Colorado, Olivia is thrilled about being able to wear a cardigan year-round in Anchorage.
Olivia loves both ends of the news spectrum; hard news and fun features stories. She aims to center the public’s voice in whatever she’s working on and is always in pursuit of becoming a better storyteller.
A lover of alternative music and fashion outside of the newsroom, Olivia is always interested in learning more about subcultures and small communities who may feel overlooked by the media. If you have a story idea for Olivia, feel free to reach out to onordyke@ktuu.com or message her on social media.
