John is an award-winning and nationally recognized TV photojournalist. He has won numerous awards from the National Press Photographers Association, the Society of Professional Journalists and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. He is a Texas native and previously worked in Austin, but got to Alaska as fast as he could! He enjoys movies, pizza, hiking, camping and going to the gym. He also enjoys road trips and went out of his way to complete the Alcan on his drive up from Central Texas. He looks forward to road-tripping Alaska and telling people's stories!
