Getting out to enjoy winter!
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - The trails and sledding hill were hopping at Kincaid Park on Sunday as Alaskans got out to enjoy some of that early season snow.
“I love the snow. It’s great. Good skiing, Good grooming. Everything’s in great shape so looking forward to a good winter,” said cross-country skier Martin Miller.
Another person enjoying the snow was Matthew. He said he was there to spend time sledding with his young cousins.
“It’s really fun because skiing, snowboarding, sledding is also a good way to spend some time with your family and also have a lot of fun,” Matthew said. “And I think it’s just a good opportunity for the children to go out, use their energy, go downhill sledding and have a lot of fun.”
“It’s going to be a long winter, so find a way to get outside and enjoy it,” said Martin.
