Make a splash: Hilltop gears up for 4th Annual Sink or Skim Pond Skim

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - Get those costumes ready and make a splash at Hilltop Ski Area’s 4th Annual Sink or Skim Pond Skim on Saturday.
Hilltop’s preparation for the big event started on Wednesday with the digging of a 4-foot deep and 80-foot long pond.
Those who wish to participate must be among the first 50 to sign up and must wear a costume and, of course, don’t forget the ski equipment.
Participants must also be at least 16 years of age.
The event starts at 3 p.m., with sign-ups beginning at 1 p.m. and concluding at 5 p.m.
