John is a born and raised Alaskan, whose passion for broadcast journalism led him to Alaska's News Source. His current positions include anchor and multimedia journalist.
He got the taste for broadcasting while attending Bartlett High School, working as a board operator for Seattle Mariners baseball games on the radio. From radio to television, John's 25 years in the broadcast business have been highlighted by his work as a sports director, morning news anchor and journalist.
He loves to watch sports, including New York Giants football, Knicks basketball and Yankees baseball. When he's not swinging sticks at the local golf club, he's playing with his dog, Frank. John also enjoys playing video games and taking advantage of all the natural wonder and beauty Alaska provides.
