Fishing Report: Tyler Lane joins the hunt for king salmon at Ship Creek

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - After a good start to the fishing season at Turnagain Arm for the annual hooligan run, our sports team decided it was time to join the action over at Ship Creek.
It’s a popular spot in Anchorage for anglers looking to land a legendary king salmon.
Lucky for our guys, they had a person in mind who could show them the tricks of the trade. The team was able to spend the morning with Dustin Slinker, owner and founder of The Bait Shack, located along the water’s edge.
