Adelmi Ruiz is an Anchor and Executive Producer at Alaska’s News Source.
Adelmi has dreamt of being a journalist since the age of 8. She majored in broadcast journalism at San Francisco State University and graduated in May 2022.
She served as a reporter for the Boyle Heights Beat in Los Angeles during her time in high school where she was recognized for her work by the County of Los Angeles.
Adelmi is also a former competitive figure skater who still enjoys taking time on the ice.
Being a part of the Alaska’s News Source team is a dream come true, and she looks forward to connecting with the community.
